Artemide
The Artemide Group is one of the global leaders of the residential and commercial lighting sector. Situated at Pregnana Milanese, the Artemide Group has a large international distribution presence in which the single brand showrooms are located in the most important cities around the world, and the "shop in shop" in the most prestigious lighting and furniture shops.Artemide has contributed to the history of design with products like Eclisse (by Vico Magistretti, 1967), Tolomeo (by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, 1989) and Pipe (by Herzog & De Meuron, 2004), all shown at the Compasso D'oro Awards.
In 1994 Artemide received The "Compaso D'oro" career Award, and in 1997 the European Design Prize.
Artemide Lamps are considered on an international level as Design Icons of contemporary design; they are exhibited in various modern art museums and design collections, such as the MoMA and the Metropolitain Museum in New York, the Victoria and Albert museum in London, and the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnica in Milan.
