Serralunga
Serralunga is an Italian manufacturer of pots, vases, furniture and lighting for both indoor and outdoor. Based out of Biella, the company’s products are characterized by their “oversized” quality, in vivid bright colors and brilliant finishes. In the beginning Serralunga developed a close partnership with international architects and designers, who were asked to reinterpret the flower pot. This resulted in a unique collection of forms, and the interpretation of an objet that went from being ordinary to extraordinary.
Today, the company also produces oversized furniture, sculptures as well as lighting for both indoor and outdoor. Their lighting products such as the Lady Mary or the Lampa-Daria, are made from an opalescent material and are lit from the inside giving them a unique glowing quality.
Found all over the world in airports, hotels, and exhibition centers, some of Serralunga’s now famous pieces include the Ming Vase by Rodolfo Dordoni, Missed Tree II by Jean-Marie Massaud, Flow by Zaha Hadid, and the Lady Jane by Marc Sadler.
