Lapalma
Lapalma was founded in the beginning of the 80’s by Dario and Romano Mercato, who came from the sector of high precision mechanics. The Lapalma brand became well known in the furnishing sector thanks to its marble and glass tables, and later on for its table and chair collections in wood. Their products are distinguished by their clean and elegant lines, as well as the use of contrasting materials: wood, glass, leather and steel. More recently, lapalma products have become known for their use of stainless steel, and curved wood with minimal thickness and reduced bending. This is seen particularly with the Thin and Lem stool and more recently with the Kai stool designed by Shin Azumi. Lapalma products are durable, functional and stylish, and are suitable for both the residential and commercial market.
